The MASCOTS category was inspired by a half-finished foam sculpture that I had kept around for a long time
in my studio (see the ABOUT page). The examples in this category are typically singular talismans or anthropomorphized
objects–symbolizing the attitude of the artist, embodying their muse, or simply offering a sense of companionship
in what is often a one-person enterprise.
